Term 2- Up, up and away!

We have been all settled well into a day to day routine at Nursery and the children have been learning the expectations of the Nursery classroom and creating new friends. We will continue to focus on making friends and separating from our grown-ups as we come into Nursery. The children will be encouraged to take turns, share and form secure relationships with adults in the school.

This term the children will be focusing on transport. We will also be using the story ‘Whatever next’ to create some exciting role play opportunities while taking a rocket to the moon!

Outdoor Learning

Within the early years we spend a lot of our learning time outside, as the outdoors is simply an extension of our curriculum. Please could you make sure your child is wearing suitable clothing each day to allow your child to benefit from all-weather experiences as the opportunities arise. Especially now the weather is getting colder.   The outdoors is full of interesting and fascinating experiences where deep-level learning can take place on a daily basis.
